Wanted to share some more of my photos from Annie Lytal School in Jacksonville, I am not planning on using all of these for my project, just thought I would share them anyways, have a great weekend!
These images are amazing! This is a great place to photograph! When you brought your first images to class, it was decided that the shadow areas were too dark and lacked detail, and they did. Now I think that you went too far the other direction. I think that you need those dark shadow areas with a muted bit of detail to give the image that dark, mysterious and decayed feeling that you are looking for. Keep up the good work! Roy
Yea I am thinking that I want it to be more about the school, and I also like the darker images myself. I also like them with soft lighting, but the place is not soft, it's hard and dark in some areas, and in others, it is really bright. I also shot several times, at different times of the day & it also changes the way a room looks completely. I captured the light beams through the window early in the morning, and I just love that image, But it was so dark in there it took me forever just to capture it. I have numerous dark images that look really cool, but nobody seems to care for them besides us lol Thanks for the input BTW Cyndy
