Sean & Kimmie

Just in case you were thinking I have been lounging on my couch eating bon~ bons these past few months enjoying the breeze in my hair and a tall drink of something sweet …. WRONG!  I have been running around like a chicken with her head cut off!  Between starting my last semester in school, and preparing to move to North Carolina in 2 months, as well as keeping up with all my other day to day stuff with Family & kiddo's, I have been trying to incorporate some shooting into my schedule! I ADORE seeing the people I love being Happy!  This is one of my Best Friends in the world Kimmie, and she has found her Prince Charming! They were not celebrating anything in particular, just each other, and looking for some updated portraits!  I didn't use any fancy strobes, or studio type lighting, mostly just available light & fill flash.  Here are a few of my favorites, enjoy :)

This Is It!!!

Well tomorrow I begin my final semester at BCC before graduating. I'm happy to finally start the final push, but it is always a little sad to be done with winter break. I spent most of the break at home in Palm Bay spending time with my family for the Holidays. I remember how fast last semester went by, I swear it feels like I was just sitting in finals, and I have a feeling that this one will go even faster!

I have so much to look forward to this year. I am graduating with honors in May, moving to North Carolina soon after to start our new life, and then finally my beautiful Daughter will be getting married September 20! I cannot tell you how happy I am that I can finally surround myself with all the people I love everyday! I really am so blessed to have all of these wonderful things to look forward to this year.

So, I dusted my camera off and took a long walk to reflect on all of the great people, and blessings I have in my life, and all the hard work I have done to get where I am. This year has been rough on my Family, but it is about to all start paying off, and I can't wait to begin the next chapter in my life. I gain strength, courage, and confidence with each experience in which I really stop to look fear in the face, so here's to new beginnings, CHEERS!

Portfolio Reception

Please Come :)

What Christmas means to me.

What does Christmas mean to me? Christmas means family, love, and hope.  It is the time of year when Families and Friends come from all over the world to be with the people that they love most.  I just love the red and green decorations, and my beautifully decorated Christmas tree sitting in the den.  Most of the ornaments have been collected over the years and have become real family treasures! It means traditions, brightly-wrapped gifts, and Santa Claus.

It also means more than that to me. It means a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes in a manger. It means a perfect baby growing into a sinless man. It means tinsel, cookies, and hot cocoa. It means hope, peace, and giving. Christmas is a time of birth and love, a time for family, gifts, and a time for remembrance too.

Christmas means going to sleep on Christmas Eve with your heart racing and waking up on Christmas morning with your heart pounding and your dreams soaring to the skies. It means hanging stockings and saying prayers and enjoying the blessings we have. Christmas is commercialized, it's true, but the meaning, beneath the twinkling lights and ruby poinsettias, is as pure as anything on this Earth, at least it is to me.

It is being together with your family, listening to Christmas carols, baking cookies, and preparing a big Christmas dinner, with all the trimmings.  It is a time when you try to be at your best. Christmas means so many things that are hard to put into words. Christmas is a time of giving and receiving, a time of faith, love, and wishes. Christmas is a magical time when dreams come true. That's what Christmas means to me.

Merry Christmas!
